The 2018-19 PGA Tour season kicks off with the Safeway Open at Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa, Calif., as Brendan Steele looks to defend his title (again).
Steele finished 15 under to win the Safeway by two over Tony Finau in 2017, and he won it for the first time in 2016 when his 18-under total clipped Patton Kizzire by one.
Phil Mickelson highlights the field. He’s the only 2018 Ryder Cup member playing in the event.
