The 2018 Ryder Cup begins on Friday in Paris, as the Americans will look to repeat for just the first time since 1991 and 1993.
On paper, the Americans look to be the favorites, but the Europeans have long dominated the event. Even after the U.S. victory at Hazeltine in 2016, the Europeans have won eight of the last 11 meetings.
