The president’s Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point, located in the Bronx, has been been hit with some poetic graffiti, according to a report from Newsweek.
A group of vandals snuck in overnight Monday and spray painted the words “The New Colossus” on the course, apparently referencing the poem on the Statue of Liberty’s pedestal, which reads, in part, “give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses.”
NYPD detectives were called to the course around noon on Monday.
Last week, Trump announced plans to cancel former President Barack Obama’s “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals” program, which protects immigrants who grew up in the U.S. from deportation.
It was just in May when two men hopped a fence and cut down several trees on the property with a chainsaw.
Ferry Point is one of the Trump organization’s 17 courses around the world.
