A couple from Dallas had plenty on the line during Tiger Woods’ win at last week’s Masters—most notably the name of their future kid.
Trey Little and Denise Coleman were watching intently as Woods tapped in on 18 last Sunday, securing his Masters win and first major championship victory in over a decade. It also secured something else: the official name of Baby Tiger.
That’s because Trey had drawn up a contract with some high stakes. “If Tiger Woods wins the Masters this week, I (father) get to have the option of naming our son (coming September 2019) Tiger Little,” he wrote.
“This whole thing started almost as a joke, then it turned into something really real, really quick,” he told the New York Post.

The contract included several “Notables,” including Woods’ odds (14-1), the fact that it would be his first Masters since 2005 and his first major since 2008. It also made note of just how historic the event would be, capping off the best comeback “arguably in the history of modern sports.”
Denise signed the contract. Tiger Woods delivered.
This isn’t the first time golf has played a role in the couple’s relationship. Last month, Trey posted a video of their gender reveal in which he smashed a powder-filled golf ball with driver, revealing the couple would have a boy.

And this year at the Genesis Open, Trey and Denise got to see Woods in person for the first time.

When Woods won, Denise took to her own Instagram. “Baby Tiger it is!” she wrote. “Congratulations @tigerwoods!”
Denise is due in September. When her son gets asked how he got his name, Tiger Little will have a heck of a story to tell.
