TrueBots, a company that specializes in automated robots, has created a Roomba-like golf ball collector, which slurps up balls by the dozens. TrueBots claims that one ball picker can collect up to 18,000 golf balls in one day.
The picker is also supposedly a silent assistant, making about the same amount of noise as a washing machine, according to the company. After gathering a certain amount of golf balls, the robot motors back to a ball dispensing station where the balls are washed and ready to use again.
