European soccer star comes AGONIZINGLY close to hole in one

June 25, 2019

Making a hole in one is on every golfer’s bucket list. While some people seem to rack them up by the fistful, others spend decades trying, to no avail.

It appears that even world-class athletes are just as ace-crazy as the rest of us. Exhibit A: English professional soccer player Harry Kane, who came about as excruciatingly close to a hole in one as you can get without actually making one. He documented his anguish on Twitter.

The Tottenham Hotspur striker is a keen golfer with a reported 4-handicap. His action looks pretty good, too!

Last November, the 25-year-old revealed he’d shot his first under-par round — a big-time achievement.

It appears Kane makes time for a round whenever he has a gap in his schedule.

Here’s hoping he gets the hole-in-one monkey off his back sooner rather than later!
