2020 Players Championship live stream: How to watch the Players online

March 11, 2020

Players Championship has arrived and the top golfers in the game are gathered at TPC Sawgrass to compete for the whopping $2.7 million grand prize. In case you want to know how to watch the 2020 Players online, we compiled all of the available Players Championship live stream options so you can be prepared.

How to live stream the 2020 Players Championship

As more and more people ditch their TVs, the demand for watching golf online has increased dramatically. While TV broadcasts are still the best way to follow any PGA Tour event, several online streaming options now exist. But not all live streams are available to everyone.

Even if you want to watch the tournament on your computer, you’re best off with a cable subscription that includes Golf Channel. With those cable credentials, you can watch the entire Golf Channel and NBC broadcasts on nbcsports.com/live wherever you want, as long as you have an internet connection. With up to six hours of coverage each round and insights from the experienced analysts, this is the superior option.

However, plenty of people have ditched their cable subscriptions along with their TVs, or they have internet-connected smart TVs without cable. If that sounds like you, there are still multiple ways to catch the Players Championship live.

Twitter has teamed up with the PGA Tour for the past few years to offer a free coverage window for the first 60-90 minutes of Tour events. So without any paid subscriptions, you can watch the beginning of each round with the Twitter live stream.

But for those cable-less souls among you willing to spend a little money, PGA Tour Live is another way you can watch the Players online. For $65 a month, you get access to featured group coverage for every official round throughout the season. For big events like the Players, you can spend the entire day watching featured groups.

PGA Tour live subscribers will also have access to a new type of comprehensive coverage at the 2020 Players Championship: Every Shot Live. With Every Shot Live, you can watch every single shot hit at TPC Sawgrass this week thanks to 120 cameras set up throughout the course that will stream an estimated 32,000 shots across four rounds, equaling 747 hours worth of coverage.

Below you can view the entire live streaming schedule for this week’s tournament.
