What’s it like to watch your husband attempt to win his first major championship from 3,000 miles away?

Apparently, pretty chilled out!

As Brian Harman battled the back nine in the final round of the Open Championship at Royal Liverpool, broadcaster Dan Hicks shared that he had received a text from Harman’s wife, Kelly Van Slyke, who was spending time with the couple’s family in Syracuse, N.Y. Hicks wanted to know: was she watching? Van Slyke shared that she was not the type to scrutinize every one of Harman’s shots, and had just returned from a four-mile walk. No doubt she was ready to tune in to the final stretch!

Harman and Van Slyke have been married since 2014 and share a daughter and two sons: Copper, Walter and Jack. The family lives in Sea Island, Ga. Check out photos of Harman and Van Slyke through the years below, as well as an adorable cameo from the couple’s daughter from last year’s Masters Par 3 Contest.
