The 2022 QBE Shootout begins on Friday, December 9, with the opening round at Tiburón Golf Course in Florida. Here’s what you need to know to watch Round 1 on TV or online.

Previewing Round 1

There are plenty of proven PGA Tour pros participating in the QBE Shootout this year, but only one of them can call himself a major champion: Jason Day. The 2015 PGA winner and former World No. 1 is fighting his way back to the top, and his comeback campaign continues this week, albeit with a little less pressure than at a normal Tour event.

Day is teaming up with Billy Horschel for the week, creating a formidable duo that the oddsmakers have branded as the betting favorite.

While Day is the only male major champion in the field in Florida, he’s not the only major winner. LPGA stars Lexi Thompson and Nelly Korda are teeing it up, too, playing alongside Maverick McNealy and Denny McCarthy, respectively.

You can watch TV coverage of the first round on Golf Channel beginning at 1:00 p.m. Friday, or stream the action via Golfchannel.com, NBCSports.com and Peacock.
