Cameron Champ, a 23-year-old PGA Tour rookie, is currently co-leading the Sanderson Farms Championship at 9 under par after firing opening rounds of 65-70.
After making his way to the Big Show from the Web.com Tour, Champ’s arrival on the PGA Tour has been heralded with a fair bit of hype — and given his already strong start to the season, it appears to be warranted.
Champ is known as a long bomber, but some recent stats released by the PGA Tour on just how far he hits the ball will totally blow your mind. Check this out:

Not only has Champ somewhat regularly busted a 330-yard (plus!) drive, he’s also nearly 25 yards ahead of his closest competitor when it comes to driving distance. Not too shabby, Champ!
