How #playingthrough at home can help you donate to a good cause
Times are tough these days. We live in an unusual period with more questions than answers and many of our lives have been upended over the past month. But in that cloud of uncertainty has come creativity and innovation in how we operate.
It may not be possible to play golf like we’re used to, but courses across the country are finding new ways to make the game safer. Gyms may be closed, but now there are scores of at-home workout routines to keep you fit. And even though some of us can’t make it out to the golf course, golfers have found ways to show off their games from home using GOLF.com’s #playingthrough hashtag.
The campaign started as a way to spread positivity during these bleak days — even getting participation from stars such as Steph Curry — but now #playingthrough is making a charitable difference as well.

GOLF.com and Michelob Ultra are teaming up to help in the COVID-19 relief efforts. For every post on social media made with the #playingthrough or #ULTRAIndoorOpen hashtag, GOLF and Michelob Ultra are pledging a $1 donation to the United Way for relief efforts.

Even though you may be cooped up, you can still play golf AND make a difference. Times might be tough, but we can get through it by #playingthrough. So get out there, get creative and post your best stuff. You never know who it might be helping. Our staff is already getting in on the action.
