Can’t watch the Masters live on TV or online? Have no fear. A brand-new, AI-powered feature will allow you to watch highlights on the Masters app.

In conjunction with IBM Watson Media, the Masters app will provide fans a new feature called “A Round in Three Minutes.” The new initiative will use IBM Watson AI to instantly produce highlight reels that capture each player’s round on the Masters app in under three minutes.

“Round in Three Minutes” will analyze every shot played at every hole during the tournament and choose which shots of each player’s round to showcase in the app highlights. Users of the app who have chosen which players are their favorites favorited on the app will be able to receive push notifications when the three-minute video highlight of the player’s round is ready to be viewed in the app.

This new initiative is part of an overall effort by the Masters to provide fans with more up-to-the-minute highlights across multiple platforms, according to Augusta National Golf Club chairman Fred Ridley.

“For the first time ever in golf, we will capture virtually every shot of every player during every competitive round,” Ridley said during his press conference on Wednesday. “This extensive library of content will be available on our web site and apps through the leaderboard and track features. Within minutes of every shot, this added content will now allow our fans online to follow their favorite players from their drive off the first tee to their final putt on the 18th green.”

So if you can’t hear Jim Nantz call the Masters on CBS or watch the live coverage online, the Masters app has got you covered with video highlights.
