Sony Open money: Total purse, payout breakdown and winner’s share

The Sony Open at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, Hawaii wraps on Sunday, with Matt Kuchar leading the field by two strokes through three rounds. The winner of the first full-field PGA Tour event of 2019 will take home a little over $1.15 million, while the purse for the event is set at $6.4 million.

The runner-up this weekend will receive $691,200, while the third place finisher will walk away with $435,200.
