Fix Finder Fix of the Week: Escape from a cart path with ease

March 9, 2018

Fix of the Week is our weekly highlight of the best tips from our free Fix Finder video instruction series. This week’s tip comes from Top 100 Teacher Scott Munroe.

Golf can be a cruel sport. You can do everything right but then get a bad bounce into a hazard, land in a fairway divot to ruin a perfect drive, or come in contact with a man-made obstruction on the course, like a cart path.

In the last scenario, the Rules of Golf permit you to take a free drop. However, often times that could mean dropping your ball into deep rough and giving yourself a horrible lie. In such a situation, it’s best to take your chances and try to hit your ball off of the cart path.

It turns out you can still hit a nice shot without damaging your club. You just need to know how to pull it off, and Top 100 Teacher Scott Munroe can help. Watch the tips below to learn for yourself.
