Want to hit the ball further off the tee? Try this easy stretch from GOLF Top 100 Teacher Joey Wuertemberger.

You want to hit the ball farther. Who doesn’t? Your current lack of oomph likely stems from an inability to create width in your swing. Without width, you’ll continually come up short, no matter how fast you swing your arms.
Here’s the fix. Secure an exercise band under your front foot, then wrap the other end under your grip. Now swing back. Your goal is to create as much tension in the band as possible. That means turning your shoulders and refraining from simply lifting your arms.
Now switch the band to your back foot and swing into a mock follow-through. Again, the goal is to stretch the band as much as you can. No chicken-winging!
With this kind of width on both sides of impact, you’ll ramp up your clubhead speed without having to swing faster — and the ball won’t know what hit it.
