Winner’s bag: Brooks Koepka’s equipment setup at the PGA Championship
Brooks Koepka bogeyed five of his last eight holes but still managed to hang on to win the PGA Championship by two shots at Bethpage Black. Having won four of the last nine major championships — dating back to the 2017 U.S. Open — Koepka has refrained from making massive changes to his equipment setup over the last few years.
The TaylorMade M5 driver and Mizuno JPX 919 Tour irons he added in January aren’t all that different from what he was playing previously. As for the rest of his gear, he continues to play TaylorMade’s M2 Tour 3-wood, a Nike Vapor Fly Pro 3-iron from his days as a Swoosh equipment staffer — he’s still under contract for apparel — Titleist Vokey wedges, and a Scotty Cameron Newport 2 T10 dating back to his time at Florida State.
Here’s a look at Koepka’s entire setup:
Driver: TaylorMade M5 (Mitsubishi Chemical Diamana White Board D+ 70TX shaft), 10.5 degrees
Fairway Wood: TaylorMade M2 Tour (Mitsubishi Chemical Diamana White Board D+ 80TX shaft), 16.5 degrees
Driving iron: Nike Vapor Fly Pro (3-iron; Fujikura Pro Tour Spec 95X shaft)
Irons: Mizuno JPX 919 Tour (4-PW; True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shafts)
