Francesco Molinari reveals details on Callaway Mavrik Sub Zero “Three Diamond” prototype driver
Callaway launched its new collection of Mavrik metalwoods on Tuesday, and 2018 Open Champion Francesco Molinari joined GOLF.com’s Fully Equipped podcast to speak on the new products ahead of The American Express. The Callaway staffer also revealed what’s different about the mysterious “three-diamond” prototype driver that he plans to use in 2020.
The Mavrik metalwoods weren’t the only gear topic that Molinari discussed, though. He explained how he transitioned so quickly into Callaway products in 2019, why he switched out of his ultra-rare Callaway Apex MB prototype irons late in the year, why equipment free agency is more popular than ever, his new Odyssey Toulon prototype putter, a new Callaway prototype golf ball, and he also took GOLF.com through his current 2020 bag setup.
Below are the clubs Molinari had in the bag prior to The American Express event in Palm Desert, and don’t forget to listen to Molinari go in-depth on his clubs on the new Fully Equipped podcast.
