Course Overview

An old school classic from minimalist genius William Watson, Belvedere looks basic until you get to the greens. With subtle undulations and slopes that drift off into chipping areas, those devilish complexes can hold their own with any other in the country. Tom Doak once declared Belvedere “exactly the kind of course golf needs more of.” Tom Watson grew up playing summer golf here and put it third on his list of favorite U.S. courses. He and Gene Sarazen called the 346-yard 16th one of the country’s best short par-4s. Who are we to argue with golf minds like that?
