The third round of the 2025 Open Championship kicks off Saturday, July 19, at Royal Portrush. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament on Saturday, including full Open Championship TV coverage, streaming info and Round 3 tee times.
How to watch the Open on Saturday
We’ve reached the halfway point at the final major of the year, and there’s a familiar face on top of the leaderboard.
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler started the day at three under, but he wouldn’t stay there for long. The three-time major champion rattled in eight birdies in Round 2 against one bogey for an impressive seven-under 64. That left him at 10 under and with a one-shot lead.
With 36 holes to go, it’s hard to envision anyone stopping Scheffler from claiming his first Open title, second major of the season and fourth major victory of his career.
Stellar seven-under 64 propels Scheffler into Open lead
But anything can happen at Royal Portrush. World No. 2 Rory McIlroy will start the second round at three under, seven shots back. But a magical round of his own on Saturday could change the outlook of this Open Championship quickly. And the crowds will certainly be on his side.
You can watch third-round TV coverage of the Open Championship on NBC and USA, with USA opening the coverage on Saturday morning at 5 a.m. ET, before it switches over to NBC at 7 a.m. ET. Peacock will provide Round 3 featured group coverage, a Par-3 Channel and live simulcasts of NBC and Sky Sports’ TV coverage.
