The 2025 Valero Texas Open gets underway this week at TPC San Antonio, and the World No. 5 is installed as the betting favorite. Here is everything you need to know about the Valero Texas Open odds and other betting favorites to start the week.

Valero Texas Open betting favorites

In the pre-tournament odds for the final tune-up before the Masters, Ludvig Aberg leads as the betting favorite at +1200 odds-to-win.

The 25-year-old Swedish star claimed his second PGA Tour victory at this year’s Genesis Invitational, though his results outside of that tournament have been mixed.

At last year’s Valero Texas Open, Aberg, the World No. 5, had a solid showing, finishing T14. He went on to earn a runner-up finish at the 2024 Masters the next week.

Trailing closely behind Aberg in the betting odds is Tommy Fleetwood at +1400 odds-to-win. Fleetwood is still looking for the first PGA Tour win of his career.

Three more Tour stars fill out the top 6 in oddsmakers’ eyes heading into the Texas Open. Former Masters champ Hideki Matsuyama is tied with Patrick Cantlay at +2000 odds-to-win, with Jordan Spieth, another former Masters champ, in sixth at +2200.

Defending champion Akshay Bhatia (+2800) is just behind 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley (+2500).
