2025 Players Championship Thursday tee times: Round 1 groupings

The 2025 Players Championship gets underway Thursday, March 13, with the opening round at TPC Sawgrass’ Stadium Course. You can find full Players Championship tee times for Thursday’s first round at the bottom of this post.

Featured tee time for Round 1

After over two months of early-season action, the PGA Tour’s best are set for the first truly big tournament of the year at the Players Championship. And Rory McIlroy is hoping he’s the center of attention Sunday night.

McIlroy has looked strong so far in just a few starts in 2025, winning the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February and contending regularly. The World No. 2 will try and take another chunk out of Scottie Scheffler’s lead in the Official World Golf Ranking with a second victory this week.

McIlroy and Scheffler will play the opening round alongside each other in a star-studded grouping that also includes World No. 3 Xander Schauffele.

They tee off on Thursday at 1:29 p.m. ET on the 1st tee.
