The 2025 Sony Open in Hawaii kicks off Thursday afternoon with the first round at Waialae Country Club. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the Sony Open on Thursday, including full Sony Open TV coverage, streaming info and Round 1 tee times.

How to watch Sony Open on Thursday

Every pro dreams to start their PGA Tour season the way Hideki Matsuyama did last week. The 2021 Masters champ won the Sony Open with a record 35-under score, earning a $3.6 million winner’s check in the process.

But Matsuyama isn’t taking time off to enjoy his victory, but instead will try and keep the momentum going on Thursday in the opening round of the Sony Open, where he’s installed as the pre-tournament betting favorite.

You can watch the first round of the 2025 Sony Open on TV via Golf Channel, which will air coverage beginning at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday.
