Nico Echavarria is having quite the fall season.
The 30-year-old Colombian just notched his second career PGA Tour victory at the Zozo Championship in Japan, and he’s picking up right where he left off in Mexico this week, posting rounds of 69-63 (-12) to share the lead at the tournament’s halfway point.
Notching back-to-back wins is no easy feat, though, and Echaverria will have his work cut out for him over the weekend, as there are plenty of other players who are jostling for position at the top of the leaderboard.
Tied with Echaverria at the top is Max Greyserman, a player who is still seeking his first Tour win but notched five top-10 finishes this year thus far.
Just behind Echaverria and Greyserman is Carson Young at 11 under and Dylan Wu at 10 under.
You can watch Saturday’s third round of the World Wide Technology Championship on Golf Channel starting at 2 p.m. ET, or you can stream the action via NBCSports.com or the NBC Sports App with an active cable subscription.
