The 2024 Open Championship gets started this week at Royal Troon in Scotland. If you’re hoping to watch the action on TV, we’ve got you covered, with full Open TV schedules and times for the entire week. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the Open Championship on TV.
How to watch the Open Championship on TV
For at-home spectators who watched last month’s thrilling U.S. Open on TV, the coverage will be familiar in terms of the channels covering the action, which will once again be NBC and USA.
But a big difference with the Open coverage is that it will occur early in the morning for viewers in the U.S., thanks to the five-hour time difference between the States and Scotland.
USA will air exclusive TV coverage of Thursday’s first round and Friday’s second round at the Open, beginning at 4 a.m. ET both days. USA will also offer early Open TV coverage on the weekend starting at 5 a.m. ET on Saturday and 4 a.m. ET on Sunday.
NBC takes over for the primary broadcasts on Saturday and Sunday, with their coverage kicking off at 7 a.m. ET each day.
For viewers who prefer to stream the Open online, Peacock will offer exclusive early and late coverage on Thursday and Friday, featured group and hole coverage and live simulcasts of NBC’s broadcasts on the weekend. You can check out the complete Open Championship streaming schedule here.
