Previewing Round 1
The long wait is over. On Thursday, golf fans will get to see 15-time major champion Tiger Woods compete in an official PGA Tour event for the first time since an abbreviated appearance at last year’s Masters.
We got the first look at Tiger’s current swing on Tuesday, but Woods will hit his first shot that counts off of Riviera’s 1st tee on Thursday at 12:25 p.m. ET. He’ll play the first round with fellow major winners Justin Thomas and Gary Woodland.
You can watch the Genesis Invitational on TV Thursday via Golf Channel beginning at 4 p.m. ET. Before that, ESPN+ will offer exclusive streaming coverage starting at 10:30 a.m. ET, as well as featured group coverage all day long. In addition, Peacock will provide a live simulcast of Golf Channel’s coverage.
