After a historic third round, Wyndham Clark holds the lead heading into the final round at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. In normal circumstances, the 30-year-old would be preparing for the final round with a chance to nab his third victory in the last eight months. But the circumstances in Pebble Beach on Sunday are anything but normal.
Torrential rains and powerful gusts have created hurricane-like conditions on the Monterey Bay, and the final round has been postponed until Monday.
If golf is played on Monday, Clark will have to hold off a collection of formidable challengers. Ludvig Aberg sits just one shot back as he seeks his second PGA Tour victory, while last week’s winner, Matthieu Pavon sits another shot behind. Mark Hubbard and Thomas Detry follow, while a quartet of players, including Scottie Scheffler and Jason Day, round out the top 10.
