What to know for Round 2
You would be forgiven if you thought golf was in its offseason, but pros are currently battling it out at the Sanderson Farms Championship in Mississippi.
With many star players sitting out following the Ryder Cup, it’s a great opportunity for a lesser-known pro to forge a breakthrough win. But to do so, they first need to play well enough in Friday’s second round to make the cut and earn tee times for the weekend.
You can stream featured group coverage of Friday’s second round via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET or watch the action on Golf Channel starting at 4 p.m. ET. Peacock will offer a simulcast of Golf Channel’s Friday coverage.
