It wouldn’t be a stretch to think that World No. 2 Scottie Scheffler is sick of playing second fiddle to Jon Rahm in 2023. After dominating the PGA Tour in 2022, Scheffler has had another strong season this year, just not as good as Rahm’s.
But that could change this week at Muirfield Village, where Scheffler was the pre-tournament betting favorite.
After teeing off early in the morning Thursday for his opening round, Scheffler will wait until Friday afternoon to get Round 2 started.
Scheffler tees off for his second round at 12:53 p.m. ET on Friday alongside Viktor Hovland and last week’s winner, Emiliano Grillo. You can stream Friday’s second round via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ beginning at 7 a.m. ET or watch the action on Golf Channel starting at 2 p.m. ET.
