AUGUSTA, Ga. — The 2023 Masters is officially underway at Augusta National Golf Club, and soon we’ll get our first look at Tiger Woods since his start at the Genesis Invitational in February.

Woods’ T45 finish at the Genesis was his only start since his missed cut at the Open Championship at St. Andrews in July. Now he’s back at the Masters, where he’s won five times in his career, the latest being the 2019 culmination of his comeback from back surgeries.

Woods’ first round at the Masters begins at 10:18 a.m. ET on Thursday. He’s grouped with Viktor Hovland and Xander Schauffele in the 12th tee time of the day.

The 47-year-old 15-time major champ plays less these days due to his health, and he was asked on Tuesday if he ever wonders “could this be the last time?” at the Masters.

“Yes. I didn’t know. Last year, I didn’t know if I was going to play again at that time,” he said. “For some reason everything kind of came together and I pushed it a little bit and I was able to make the cut, which was nice,” he said. “Yeah, I don’t know how many more I have in me. So just to be able to appreciate the time that I have here and cherish the memories. But still, to just look at the golf course, it looks like it’s been here for over a hundred years and hasn’t changed, and each and every year we come here, everything has changed since I first played here.”

You can check out the Masters TV schedule and streaming times to figure out how to watch Thursday’s opening round. Woods’ first round might be complete when the broadcast comes on TV, but you can still watch his round via featured-group coverage on Masters.com or on the Masters app.
