RSM Classic purse: RSM payout breakdown and winner’s share

As Brendon Todd guns for what would be a third-straight victory on the PGA Tour, Webb Simpson chases after him at the RSM Classic. Both are looking to bag the winner’s share of $1.18 million at stake at Sea Island Golf Club.

Todd stormed into the 54-hole lead with a Saturday 62, causing even more of a debate on Twitter about his prospects as a late addition to the Presidents Cup team. According to Justin Ray, the only other players to win three tournaments in three weeks on the PGA Tour in the last 50 years are Tiger Woods and Gary Player. Todd would join elite company with a win Sunday.

Simpson is his greatest competition, but either way, Todd will again earn a huge paycheck from the event. He made just $252,546 last season in 11 starts on the PGA Tour, and as long as he doesn’t drop out of the top 5, he’ll make more than that just this week.

Todd began the day at 18 under with a two-shot lead, with Simpson and Sebastian Munoz close behind. You can find the complete payout structure for the event below.
