UPDATE: Play resumed at 6:11 p.m. ET following a 62-minute delay.

The final round of the Wells Fargo Championship has been momentarily suspended due to storms passing through the Charlotte, N.C., area.

Play was suspended at 5:09 p.m. ET — play was also suspended twice on Saturday — with the tournament about an hour from finishing.

Max Homa, who is in the final group with Jason Dufner, was leading when play was suspended. He’s at 15 under and facing about five feet for par on the par-4 14th hole.

Joel Dahmen is in second at 12 under, Justin Rose is 11 under and Sergio Garcia is 10 under. The tournament is expected to finish on Sunday night when the storm passes through.
