Though his attention right now is surely on basketball, Steph Curry might be thinking about golf on his off days. It’s no secret that Curry loves the game, but as we saw in a picture shared on Twitter Sunday evening, golf has been Curry’s second love for a long time.
The guard for the Golden State Warriors and reigning NBA MVP played three years of golf in high school at Charlotte Christian School, according to the San Francisco Gate. By the time he was a senior, he was the number one player on the team.
Nowadays, he might have more high-profile tee times, but his golf game did have humble beginnings, evidenced by this black and white photo shared by Darren Rovell of ESPN:

And not unlike his jump shot, Curry’s golf game has gotten better since his high school days. He’s currently a 2 handicap.
