Tiger Woods appears to be making a pit stop at Chambers Bay on his way to Muirfield Village for the Memorial.
According to a tweet from Steve Sloboda, a real estate agent in the Seattle/Tacoma area, Woods’ plane was at Narrows Airport in Gig Harbor as of 1:11 a.m. EST on June 1, when the tweet was posted. There’s no word on exactly how long the plane was there, or when it arrived. But the image does appear to match past photos of Woods’ private jet.

Narrows Airport is less than nine miles from Chambers Bay, site of this month’s U.S. Open. Several other players have already made visits to the links course, including Phil Mickelson who played the front nine alongside Dave Pelz and Jim “Bones” Mackay last week.
Woods is competing at the Memorial this week, which will mark only his fifth start of the season and first since he finished T69 at the Players Championship.
UPDATE: Tiger Woods is on site at Chambers Bay this morning, according to this tweet from local sports reporter Aaron Levine.
