All square on the second hole of sudden death, Sarazen nearly drove it OB, but got a lucky break. Examining his lie, Sarazen told the gallery, “I’ll put this one up so close to the hole, it will break Walter’s heart." The Squire made good and captured his second consecutive PGA.
