This Million-Dollar Hamptons Pad Has a Backyard Mini-Golf Course

January 26, 2016

Golfers looking to make a move to the Hamptons this summer should check out this $1.5 million East Quogue house boasting a private backyard mini-golf course.

According to Newsday, the owner, Larry Simon, had the backyard’s tennis court turned into a six-hole golf course when a friend who has worked on landscaping for Republican presidential frontrunner and golf course developer Donald Trump suggested the idea.

The layout includes waterfalls, a water trap, and a stereo system, along with a two-tier green on the last hole. The house itself is nothing to sneeze at either. Its 4,000 square feet contain six bedrooms, five bathrooms, a fully equipped gym and a large pool.

You can also rent the house, listed with Mark Schindler and Gary DePersia of The Corcoran Group, for $88,000 per year or $65,000 for just the peak season summer months.
