Robert Allenby Seen at Strip Club on Night of Alleged Attack, Report Says

January 26, 2015

The story of Robert Allenby’s wild night in Honolulu has new developments, including witnesses seeing the PGA Tour player at the Club Femme Nu strip clip [pictured above].

GolfChannel.com interviewed several eye-witnesses who saw Allenby, 47, on Jan. 16, the night of his alleged kidnapping, and came away with a rough timeline of events, along with more questions than answers.

The report says Allenby was approached by two men and a woman at Amuse Wine Bar and, according to video footage from the restaurant, walked out with the group at 11:06 p.m. Twenty minutes later two homeless men, Chris Khamis and Toa Kaili, said they found Allenby passed out on the sidewalk 100 yards away from the wine bar with no injuries, but clearly disoriented and asking about a “third guy.” Allenby is next seen at Club Femme Nu, a strip club located a mile away from the restaurant, where himself and “a group of friends” had a bill of $3,400, according to the Golf Channel report.

Around 1 a.m., Khamis and Kaili claim to have found Allenby for a second time, this time 50 feet from the original location where they first saw him, and watched him injure himself by falling and hitting his head on a rock. “He was beyond drunk,” Kaili told Golf Channel. “Totally blitz. It had to be a little bit more than just drunk.”

Allenby told GolfChannel.com there is a two-and-a-half hour gap from his memory that night, but remains steadfast he was assaulted.

“I remember someone hitting me twice, I just don’t know who that person is, but I remember it. I keep having nightmares about it,” Allenby said.

In his original account, Allenby said he ate dinner at a wine bar in downtown Honolulu with his caddie and a friend after missing the cut at the Sony Open. He claimed he was robbed, beaten, thrown in a trunk and dropped off in a park six miles away from the wine bar where Charade Keane, a homeless woman, assisted him into a cab and sent Allenby to his hotel. Allenby has a press conference scheduled for Tuesday at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
