The PGA Tour might be on its winter hiatus, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be golf this weekend. Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau are headed to Las Vegas for a Black Friday showdown in the latest iteration of Capital One’s The Match. Here’s everything you need to know about the event.
Brooks vs. Bryson Match preview
The Brooks-Bryson feud has been an ongoing saga in golf for the past couple of years, but now they finally have the chance to go mano a mano on the course. A victorious Ryder Cup campaign created conditions for a brief ceasefire between the two, but the bad blood still remains.
The 12-hole match will take place at Wynn Golf Course in the shadow of the Vegas strip. Koepka has been active on Tour during the fall season, playing in four events over the last few months, but DeChambeau has not been seen in action since his foray into the world of long drive competitions earlier this fall.
And while the golf is sure to be exciting, the broadcast team should add some spice to the event as well. Noted avid golfer Charles Barkley will return to the booth for this match, and he will be joined on the headsets by Phil Mickelson.
