The 2020 U.S Open is halfway finished, and now the real fun begins with the third round on Saturday at Winged Foot. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the third round.

Previewing U.S. Open Round 3

A familiar face holds the top spot after 36 holes at Winged Foot: Patrick Reed. The 2018 Masters champion and Ryder Cup star (and sometimes villain) hung on through difficult conditions on Friday to shoot an even par 70, good enough for a one-shot lead. But Reed has company near the top.

Bryson DeChambeau eagled his final hole of the day to finish off a 68, the best round of the day. That left the six-time Tour winner at three under for the tournament. DeChambeau has defied the odds and stuck to his game plan, and now it has him on the precipice of his first taste of major glory.

First-round leader Justin Thomas, who shot a Winged Foot U.S. Open record 65 on Thursday, did not fare as well in the second round. But Thomas battled back toward the end his round to shoot 73 and finish at two under, two shots behind Reed. Thomas, DeChambeau and Reed are three of only six players under par at the halfway point.

Unfortunately, fan favorites Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods both struggled for the second day in a row and missed the cut. You can view the complete list of tee times, as well as all the other information you need to watch the third round of the 2020 U.S. Open on TV or stream it online below.
