The 2020 U.S. Open — the second men’s major of 2020 — is finally set to begin this week at Winged Foot Golf Club in New York, and World No. 1 Dustin Johnson, 2006 Winged Foot runner-up Phil Mickelson and reigning Masters champion Tiger Woods are ready to battle for the title. Here’s all the information you need to watch all the action streaming live online.

How to stream the U.S. Open online

NBC Sports reclaimed the rights to broadcast the U.S. Open earlier this year, after Fox Sports backed out of their deal with the USGA. That means the team that televised 20 U.S. Opens from 1995-2014 will once again lead the coverage. But a lot will change from the last time NBC covered the event, especially online.

Parts of this year’s U.S. Open will be available exclusively online, and not on TV. Peacock, NBCUniversal’s new streaming service, will air two hours of coverage for each round of the tournament. On Thursday, Peacock will carry the final two hours of the opening round. Then on Friday-Sunday, Peacock will have the first two hours of coverage.

You will need a Peacock account to stream the action, and you can sign up for free here.

The USGA will offer Featured Group and Featured Hole coverage throughout the tournament on usopen.com, the U.S. Open app and the U.S. Open streaming app. In addition, you can watch U.S. Open 360, which will include player interviews, live-streams from the practice areas and more.

You can also stream all of Golf Channel and NBC’s TV broadcasts online at NBCSports.com, though you will need to log in with your cable credentials. (You can see the full TV schedule here.)
