AT&T Byron Nelson preview

The golf season his heating up, with the year’s second major right around the corner, but first the Tour is heading outside of Dallas for the AT&T Byron Nelson.

Headlining the field is World No. 2 Scottie Scheffler, who has been locked in a duel with Jon Rahm for the No. 1 ranking all year. Rahm is the current title holder, but he’s sitting this week out, giving Scheffler an opportunity to make up some ground.

Fellow Texan Jordan Spieth was supposed to play this week, but he withdrew on Monday citing a wrist injury. But two-time defending champion K.H. Lee is back with his sights set on a third-straight win at TPC Craig Ranch.

Golf Channel and CBS will provide TV coverage of the AT&T Byron Nelson, and PGA Tour Live on ESPN+, Peacock and Paramount+ will stream the action online, with ESPN+ providing exclusive early coverage of all four rounds.
