At first it was a rumor, then a report, and then it became an announcement with details TBD. But now we finally have the whole picture.

Turner Sports unveiled the plan for “The Match: Champions for Charity” on Thursday, the battle that will showcase Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning vs. Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady. A total of $10 million will be donated to COVID-19 relief via WarnerMedia and the four golfers.

Thursday’s announcement tied up the remaining loose ends, including the most important: a time, a date and a course. The match is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET on May 24 at Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Fla. Woods is one of the many pros who’s a member at Medalist. Turner will simulcast the action across TNT, TBS, truTV and HLN, and the Bleacher Report app will add pre-round coverage.

The format will be fourball for the front nine and modified alternate shot for the back nine. Additional funds for charity will be raised with various on-course challenges, and players will be mic’d up so they can communicate with announcers live on the broadcast.

Oh, and if you are wondering if the trash talk has already started, the answer is yes. Right, Peyton?
