Wednesday was a night of celebration as the World Golf Hall of Fame welcomed its newest members. Former PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem was enshrined, as were women’s golf legends Susie Maxwell Berning and Marion Hollins. But the main attraction, unequivocally, was one Eldrick “Tiger” Woods.
The 15-time major winner was surrounded by those closest to him on the special night, and his daughter Sam introduced her father before he took his next step into the history books. It was a night to remember at the PGA Tour’s gleaming new headquarters, in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., and one the golf community at large won’t soon forget.
