This week should mark the start of the 120th U.S. Open at Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, N.Y., but because of the coronavirus pandemic, the championship has been postponed until Sept. 17.
But if you still want your U.S. Open fix, you’re in luck, because on Monday, the USGA launched the U.S. Open Victory Club, an online community hub especially for U.S. Open fans. In addition to special access to championship events, merchandise and ticket offers, a club membership also includes access to exclusive content and stories throughout the year.
To kick things off, the USGA relived the 1980 U.S. Open at Baltusrol with a watch party on its Facebook and YouTube pages. The best part? The session featured the U.S. Open champion himself, Jack Nicklaus, alongside GOLF.com’s own senior writer, Michael Bamberger.
