Matthew Wolff stands on the cusp of his second career PGA Tour win as we prepare for the final round of action at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. The 21-year-old pro holds a three-stroke lead heading into round 4 on Sunday after firing back-to-back 64s in rounds 2 and 3. Here’s how to watch as he tries to close things out from Detroit Golf Club Sunday.

Rocket Mortgage Classic Round 4 Preview

While Wolff holds a healthy lead heading into the final round of play, the biggest story of the weekend surrounds Bryson DeChambeau — but not for the usual reasons. Bryson found himself at the center of controversy Saturday after an altercation with a CBS camera crew on the 7th hole.

The situation began when, in a moment of frustration after a missed shot, DeChambeau slashed a greenside bunker. Then, after finishing the hole, he appeared to get into an argument with a CBS cameraman for filming him throughout the sequence. After the round, Bryson said his focus was on protecting players from being caught at “a potentially vulnerable time.”

“I mean, I understand that it’s his job to video me, but at the same point, I think we need to start protecting our players out here compared to showing a potential vulnerability and hurting someone’s image,” he said. “I just don’t think that’s necessarily the right thing to do. Not that I was going to do anything bad. It’s just one of those things that I hope he respects my privacy.”

Even amid the controversy, DeChambeau heads into Sunday tied for second at 16 under for the weekend. Viktor Hovland and Webb Simpson also enter the final round near the top of the leaderboard. Both players are six strokes back of Wolff at 13 under.
