The first round of the 2022 Mexico Open at Vidanta gets underway Thursday, April 28. Here’s what you need to know to watch Round 1 on TV or online.

Previewing Mexico Open Round 1

The PGA Tour welcomes the inaugural Mexico Open this week, and one of the Tour’s brightest new stars is in tow. World No. 2 Jon Rahm is still looking for his first win of 2022, and he made the trip south of the border with exactly that in mind.

The oddsmakers are thinking the same thing. Rahm is a huge favorite to win this week to the tune of +450 odds. Should he succeed, it would represent his seventh PGA Tour victory, and it would provide him with plenty of confidence heading into the PGA Championship next month.

Rahm will begin his campaign on Thursday morning at 9:18 a.m. ET with playing partners Cameron Champ and Charles Howell III. You can stream the opening round via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+, or watch the telecast on Golf Channel.
