The 2021 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines is here, with a full field of top pros ready to try their best to make history, beginning with Thursday’s opening round. Here’s what you need to know to watch the first round. (You can find info on how to watch Friday’s second round here.)

Previewing U.S. Open Round 1

This year’s U.S. Open is brimming with historic potential. Can Phil Mickelson do the unthinkable and win his second-straight major, finally claiming his first U.S. Open title and joining the career Grand Slam club? Or will defending champion Bryson DeChambeau and two-time champ Brooks Koepka settle their feud in the winner’s circle?

How about Jon Rahm, and his endearing quest for a breakthrough major win on the heels of disappointment at the Memorial? Can Jordan Spieth summon the greatness that won him the 2015 U.S. Open and back it up with another comeback victory?

It all gets started Thursday morning at Torrey Pines’ South Course. Below you will find everything you need to know to watch the first round.
