The paychecks at this week’s Workday Charity Open are an item to be collected. It’s what the players play for. Who doesn’t want to get paid? The paychecks, too, at the Workday are a collector’s item.
The Workday will be won and done.
The tournament was scheduled in early June only after the event that held the spot on the calendar, the John Deere Classic, was canceled in late May due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Workday is being played at Muirfield Village in Dublin, Ohio, also the host of next week’s tournament, the Memorial.
The winner will receive $1.116 million from a $6.2 million purse. Justin Thomas entered the final round with a two-stroke lead over Viktor Hovland and a three-stroke lead over Collin Morikawa, the first- and second-round leader.
Below is the prize money and winner’s share for the Workday Charity Open’s $6.2 million purse. The Golf Channel will broadcast Sunday’s fourth round from 9-11 a.m. ET, and CBSsports.com will continue coverage from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. ET. CBS will broadcast the fourth round on tape delay from 3-6 p.m. ET.
