Imagine rolling up to the range at your local course and having every clubhead imaginable within arm’s reach. It’s a dream scenario 40 lucky testers lived out last November when they descended upon Silverleaf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., to take part in GOLF’s 2021 ClubTest.

With GOLF’s Managing Equipment Editor Jonathan Wall, Senior Equipment Editor Andrew Tursky and certified club fitters from 8AM Golf sister company True Spec Golf on hand to oversee the testing protocol, golfers of varying handicaps offered their unbiased takes on the look, sound, feel and performance of more than 150 clubs in the marketplace.

The end result is arguably GOLF’s most comprehensive ClubTest to date.

If there’s one thing we learned from this year’s process, it’s that there’s a club out there for every swing. You just have to do the work on the range to find the best fit for your game. Thankfully, our testing panel has already done some of the legwork for you with in-depth reports on the latest drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, irons, wedges and putters from brands you already know (Callaway, TaylorMade, Ping and Cobra) and a few that should be on your radar (Haywood and Ben Hogan).

We can’t hit the shots for you, but we can help point you in the right direction. Enjoy digging into GOLF’s 2021 ClubTest. You can visit our ClubTest homepage here, or browse each club category by clicking on the headlines below:
