Live like a champion: The homes of two former major-winners are for sale

November 3, 2018

Here are two opportunities to live like a major champion. Or, at least live where a major champion once lived.

Geoff Ogilvy and Lee Trevino have put their respective homes up for sale.

Ogilvy, who won the 2006 U.S. Open at Winged Foot, lists his two-story manse in Scottsdale for $4.75 million. (It’s also pictured above.) It checks in at 7,700 square feet and features six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a wet bar, a lap pool and an outdoor fire pit. Ready to make an offer? Here are a few photos to further fan the flames of temptation.

If Scottsdale isn’t your spot, Trevino has shaved $1 million off the asking price for his former Dallas abode. It now lists for $7.5 million. The six-time major-winner’s home features four bedrooms, a game room, a sunroom, a music room, and a study, and it sits on five acres. The photos aren’t overly golf-themed, but there’s a stone structure in the yard that looks an awful lot like an homage to Old Course at St. Andrews’ famed Swilcan Bridge.
