One of America’s top golf resorts just got even better. Destination Kohler, in Kohler, Wisc., which comprises the American Club hotel and renowned 36-hole facilities Whistling Straits (host of the upcoming Ryder Cup) and Blackwolf Run, just added another course to the lineup. The Baths of Blackwolf Run is a 10-hole, par-3 course that is built on 27 acres between the first and 11th holes of Blackwolf Run’s Meadow Valleys course.
The hole lengths range from 60 to 160 yards, and though the layout features four water hazards (the “baths”), none of them require forced carries to play the hole.
Though the course was designed to be played as a 10-holer, the routing allows for both shorter and longer playing experiences. In addition to the short course, guests can enjoy a two-acre putting course, log cabin food-and-beverage station and ample outdoor seating around a firepit.
“The Baths will be a new twist for our resort guests, regardless if they are a serious player wanting to hone their game or someone yearning for an extraordinary closer to an amazing day on one of our 18-hole golf courses,” Kohler Co. Vice President of Golf Dirk Willis said in a press release. “Our continued mission is to find new and innovative ways to grow the game and make it more inviting and accessible to all. The Baths of Blackwolf Run allows us to do just that.”
